Islamic Endowments Council Hosts Students from Abdullah bin Khalid College for Training

Manama: Ahmed Khalil Khairi, Director-General of the General Directorate of the Islamic Endowments Council, welcomed a cohort of students from Abdullah bin Khalid College for Islamic Studies who are taking part in a hands-on training programme. This initiative is organised by the General Directorate in collaboration with the college, aiming to prepare and equip students with the necessary skills for their future professional and religious roles.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme spans eight weeks, from June 28 to August 20, and integrates both theoretical and practical components. Khairi highlighted that the initiative is designed to groom a new generation of competent imams, Islamic lecturers, and Sharia professionals. The programme also aims to enhance religious outreach, fortify the function of mosques in community service, and promote the principles of moderation and tolerance.
