Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, and Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, conducted an inspection of the first phase of the King Faisal Corniche waterfront development project in Manama to evaluate the progress of the works.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Mubarak stated that the project is part of the ongoing efforts to develop waterfront areas and enhance the recreational and service facilities in the capital. The project covers approximately 46,000 square meters and features walking, running, and cycling tracks, play areas, sports facilities, service buildings, and green spaces.
Minister Al Mubarak emphasized that the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture is committed to implementing projects that focus on developing infrastructure, expanding green spaces, and enhancing municipal and recreational services.
Al Hawaj noted that construction is progressing as planned and highlighted that the project is part of broader efforts to develop infrastructure and public facilities. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Works maintains coordination with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture to advance projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.
