Manama: The Cooperation Committee between the Capital Trustees Board, municipal councils, and government entities held its regular meeting chaired by Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, in the presence of representatives of relevant government entities and heads of municipal councils.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and integration between government entities and municipal councils. This cooperation is crucial for supporting the efficient implementation of projects and plans and enhancing the quality and efficiency of services in line with development goals and sustainability efforts.
The committee reviewed various current and future projects and plans related to the youth, health, electricity, water, municipalities, and agriculture sectors. These include programmes and initiatives aimed at developing services, strengthening infrastructure, supporting food security, and empowering youth. The meeting also discussed additional items on the agenda.
