Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressed pride in winning “Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women’s Advancement”.
The winners were announced during during the inauguration ceremony of the Bahraini Women’s Monument “Athar” and the distribution of the prizes, held by the Supreme Council for Women. The prize-distribution came amid celebration marking Bahraini Women’s Day, under the slogan “I read – learned – participated” for this year. In a statement, Mumtalakat paid tribute to Bahraini women, who make up 67% 67% of the company’s executive management.
Mumtalakat Chief Executive Officer Al Romaihi praised Bahraini women for their distinguished achievements and contributions in light of the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He commended the pioneering role played by the Supreme Council for Women, headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and SCW President.
