Muharraq Governorate to Host National Day Celebration Under Royal Patronage

Manama: Muharraq Governorate is set to host a public event to mark Bahrain's National Day, celebrating the founding of modern Bahrain by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783 and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession. The event will take place under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Saturday, December 14, at Arad Fort Park, beginning at 3:00 PM. According to Bahrain News Agency, the celebration will include a range of national and traditional activities. Attendees can expect to witness the Bahraini Ardah, along with performances by the Ministry of Interior's cavalry and musical bands. Contributions from schools and folk groups, as well as shows by expatriate community groups, will also form part of the event's offerings. In addition to the performances, the event will feature an exhibition displaying handmade crafts and products created by productive families. Attendees can also look forward to various surprises throughout the celebration.
