Manama: Hamad Al Doy, Member of the Council of Representatives, said that the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa set a clear national standard that defines responsibilities without exception, stressing that Bahrain’s security and stability do not allow for ambiguity, hesitation, or positions that enable treason.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Doy said the current stage requires full clarity in positions. He stressed that what draws HM the King’s anger is nationally unacceptable and rejected by the people of Bahrain, who recognise that protecting the nation is a duty that cannot be compromised.
He added that parliamentary work must align with national principles. He stressed that a true parliament member stands firmly with the nation in both word and action, rejecting any attempt to justify treason or adopt ambiguous positions, and called for clear national alignment that prioritises Bahrain’s interests.
Al Doy said national unity is not a choice but a necessity. He stressed that Bahrain’s strength lies in the cohesion of its people and the clarity of their positions, adding that any deviation from this unity weakens the internal front and cannot be accepted.
He affirmed that Bahrain, under HM the King’s leadership, will continue with confidence and resolve. He stressed that citizens remain committed to protecting the nation’s security, rejecting treason, and upholding its principles without hesitation.
