Manama: Maryam Hasan Al Saegh, Member of the Council of Representatives, expressed strong support for the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, noting that they provide a clear national framework for unity, cohesion, and safeguarding Bahrain’s security, sovereignty, and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saegh said that HM the King’s remarks clearly outlined the challenges facing the Kingdom and the responsibilities required at this stage. She stressed the need for greater public awareness and national responsibility across all sectors.
She commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She noted his leadership of government work, coordination with the legislative authority, and the comprehensive approach that confronted the Iranian attacks and mitigated their impact.
Al Saegh affirmed that work within the legislative authority requires full commitment to the parliamentary oath and responsibilities. She stressed the importance of defending national interests, serving citizens, and reinforcing confidence in the Council of Representatives through safeguarding national achievements and strengthening national identity.
She commended the Bahrain Defence Force and state institutions for their readiness and effectiveness in confronting the Iranian attacks and protecting national achievements and the interests of citizens.
