Manama: Abdulhakeem Al Shanoo, Member of the Council of Representatives, commended the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, affirming that they reflect a firm national stance that embodies the will of the Bahraini people and reinforces Bahrain's approach to safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Shanoo stated that His Majesty the King's directives align with public sentiment and the aspirations of citizens in protecting the nation's security and stability, while rejecting any external interference or practices that target social unity. He mentioned that recent developments have revealed true positions and have strengthened national unity and resolve.
Al Shanoo noted that His Majesty the King's affirmation that the nation comes above all represents a fundamental principle of national action. He emphasized the importance of upholding this principle through commitment, responsibility, and collective effort to reinforce unity and safeguard national achievements.
He further mentioned that His Majesty the King's remarks regarding positions within the legislative authority highlight the significance of protecting the democratic process and strengthening the role of the Council of Representatives.
