Morocco and Serbia Enhance Parliamentary Ties to Foster Cooperation.

Rabat: Rachid Talbi El Alami, the Speaker of Morocco's House of Representatives, welcomed Ana Brnabic, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, to strengthen parliamentary cooperation. According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Talbi El Alami emphasized the strong bilateral relations across various sectors and acknowledged Serbia's supportive stance on Morocco's territorial integrity. He highlighted that Morocco's autonomy plan for resolving the conflict surrounding the Moroccan Sahara has received extensive international backing. Furthermore, Speaker Talbi El Alami detailed several strategic initiatives spearheaded by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to stimulate development in Africa. These include the Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline project and the Atlantic Initiative, which aims to provide Sahel countries with access to the Atlantic. Additionally, several agreements and projects have been established to bolster South-South cooperation with other African nations. In a press statement, Speaker Ana Brnabic expressed that her visit underscores the enduring relationship between Morocco and Serbia, particularly in parliamentary collaboration. She praised the significant development Morocco has achieved under the guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Brnabic, who leads a large parliamentary delegation on an official visit to Morocco, also conveyed her appreciation for Morocco's support of Serbia's territorial integrity. She expressed optimism that her visit would further enhance economic cooperation, highlighting the critical role of the two legislative bodies in fostering ongoing dialogue and communication.
