Manama: The Ministry of Labour celebrated Bahraini Women's Day in an event attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry, where female employees with over 20 years of service were honoured. During the event, the undersecretary congratulated the ministry's female employees, underscoring the ministry's commitment to supporting their career aspirations. According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman commended their dedication and contributions to serving citizens and advancing the nation. He also praised the Equal Opportunities Committee for implementing eight initiatives aimed at fostering competitiveness, fairness, and gender equality within the workplace. The undersecretary highlighted their increasing representation in the private sector and leadership roles. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman emphasized the ministry's ongoing efforts to empower and qualify Bahraini women, ensuring opportunities for their active participation in the Kin gdom's progress. The celebration marked a significant acknowledgment of the role of women in the workforce and the commitment of the Ministry of Labour to support their development and professional growth.
