HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, today met Liz Truss, the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for International Trade and Minister for Women and Equalities.
During the meeting, His Excellency noted the importance of both the UK and Bahrain enhancing international trade links as the world economy emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic.
His Excellency highlighted that the UK trade relationship was one of Bahrain’s oldest and strongest partnerships, with current day trade interests across financial services, industry and the digital economy.
His Excellency emphasised the importance of driving forward increased economic cooperation and closer trade links.
