Manama: Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, Advisor for Media Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, visited Youth City 2030, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in cooperation with strategic partner, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). He was accompanied by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Hammadi reviewed some of the training programmes and initiatives offered by the city, as well as the outcomes and experiences aimed at empowering Bahraini youth, developing their skills and abilities, and enhancing their readiness for the future. He emphasized that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to Youth City 2030 reflects His Majesty's commitment to supporting Bahraini youth, promoting their ambitions, and developing their abilities to enable them to play an active role in the Kingdom of Bahrain's development as key to the nation's present and future.
Al Hammadi also affirmed that the directives and support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, contribute significantly to empowering young people, developing their abilities, and strengthening their role in comprehensive development. He noted that Youth City 2030 mirrors the efforts led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), in developing the youth sector and opening wider opportunities for young people to excel and innovate.
Furthermore, Al Hammadi highlighted the interest of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in supporting initiatives and programmes that develop young people's talents and strengthen their presence and contribution across various fields. He commended the efforts of the Youth Minister, those overseeing the city, and all partners in enriching the city's experience and providing young people with quality opportunities to discover and develop their abilities.
Al Hammadi reviewed its specialized training centres and programmes in leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, arts and culture, and science and technology, as well as the sports city. He also reviewed the integrated environment provided by the city, which combines knowledge with practical application and offers young people various opportunities to discover their interests and develop their skills and experience.
He reviewed experiences and projects completed by participants and received an explanation of the key outcomes of the training programmes, as well as the knowledge and practical skills gained by young people in various fields. These outcomes demonstrate Youth City 2030's ability to turn training opportunities into experiences, projects, and tangible results. Al Hammadi commended the diversity of programmes at the city and the advanced level of Bahraini youth skills reflected in the outcomes, describing Youth City 2030 as an outstanding model for investing in young people's potential and equipping them with the knowledge, experience, and skills needed to continue contributing to the Kingdom's future.
Al Hammadi expressed that the experience at Youth City 2030 is a source of pride, highlighting the city's wide range of programmes and pathways and the tangible outcomes reflecting the potential, abilities, and ideas of Bahraini youth. He noted that young people's active participation and passion for learning, experience, and innovation demonstrate how providing the right environment and quality opportunities can open wider horizons for them and strengthen their ability to turn what they learn into experiences and projects that contribute to shaping their future and the future of their country.
