Manama: The organising committee of the Dana Drama Award 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has announced that MBC Group, one of the most prominent media networks in the Arab world, will serve as the official media sponsor of the award.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event is organised by the Ministry of Information in collaboration with the Gulf Radio and Television Organisation. The committee emphasised that MBC Group's continued sponsorship for the second consecutive year reflects the success of the ongoing partnership between the award and the network. It also highlights the growing position and influence of the Dana Drama Award within the Gulf and broader Arab artistic scene.
The committee emphasized that MBC Group's involvement enhances the award's prominence across the Arab world, attracting widespread media and artistic attention. The Dana Drama Award 2025 aims to celebrate impactful works that contribute to the Gulf's drama industry. It includes ten main categories and three public-voted awards, recognising excellence in areas such as acting, directing, writing, and technical achievements.
