Market Stability Reflects Bahrain’s Preparedness, Says Industry Minister

Manama:The smooth operation of markets and the availability of essential goods and supplies in Bahrain demonstrate the government's preparedness and its ability to respond effectively to changing circumstances, according to Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Fakhro emphasized that these efforts contribute to market stability and the continuity of economic activity, aligning with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Furthermore, inspection visits have been intensified, with increased monitoring of food traders and the preparation of regular reports and regulatory analyses to track market activity, commodities, and stock levels.

Minister Fakhro stated that these initiatives reflect the effectiveness of an integrated approach based on proactive preparedness, diversified supply sources, rapid responses to changing conditions, and continuous market monitoring, along with a robust partnership with the private sector. He concluded that the progress achieved lays a foundation for further enhancing supply security, resilience of the national economy, and supporting sustainable growth, thereby enhancing Bahrain's competitiveness.
