Manama: A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the town of Zarzis in the Medenine Governorate in southern Tunisia, the Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) reported. The seismic monitoring stations of the Tunisian National Institute of Meteorology noted that the earthquake occurred at 2:41 p.m. local time.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the institute confirmed the earthquake's epicenter was located at latitude 33.46 degrees north and longitude 10.88 degrees east. As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the earthquake.
