Ras al khaimah: The Ma'an Regional Centre for Research and Training secured the first-place accolade in the 2025 Arab Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability Award, under the Partnerships and Collaboration category. This prestigious award is a significant recognition for institutions leading in sustainable development and social responsibility, adhering to international standards.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the announcement was made at a ceremony where Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Aviation Department in the United Arab Emirates, honoured various distinguished institutions across different sectors for their notable contributions to sustainability.
Ali Ahmed Amini, the Director of Crime Prevention and Director of the Ma'an Programme, received the award. He stated that the achievement is a testament to the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, aimed at bolstering national efforts to promote community prevention and partnership values.
The Ma'an Centre's recognition highlights its dedicated efforts in fostering a culture of community prevention and reinforcing the principles of partnership and social responsibility. The centre has been instrumental in conducting awareness programmes targeting students, parents, and community institutions, thus contributing to a safe and supportive environment for sustainable development.
