German Embassy in Bahrain Celebrates 35th Anniversary of Unity Day with Reception

Manama: The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted a reception marking the 35th anniversary of German Unity Day. The event was attended by Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, several ministers, members of the Shura and Representatives councils, and ambassadors accredited to Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, extended Bahrain's congratulations to the Government and people of Germany on the occasion. He emphasised the Kingdom's pride, under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in its longstanding partnership with Germany. Dr. Al Zayani highlighted the importance of continued cooperation in political, economic, and cultural domains, including trade, investment, renewable energy, and education, with a shared vision for a sustainable and prosperous future.

Dr. Al Zayani expressed appreciation to Henning Simon, Ambassador of Germany to Bahrain, and his team for their efforts in enhancing the ties and cooperation between the two countries. On his part, the German Ambassador reiterated Germany's commitment to advancing its relations and coordination with Bahrain, and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
