Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, inaugurated the annual Careers Forum and Exhibition at the Royal University for Women (RUW). Professor Riyadh Yousif Hamzah, President of the University, was present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event featured participation from institutions across the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Highness highlighted the importance of direct engagement with students and supporting initiatives that help develop national talent and enhance professional skills. He noted the value of such forums in linking young people with employers.
The exhibition included booths presenting job opportunities in the local market, alongside sessions focused on career paths, emerging job trends, required skills, and entrepreneurship. The forum forms part of the Ministry of Labour's ongoing efforts, in collaboration with education and training institutions, to strengthen career guidance and support Bahraini youth in aligning with labour market needs.
