Kuwait city: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Labour Ministries of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, held in the State of Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was a preparatory gathering for the 11th meeting of the Ministers of Labour of the GCC countries. Key topics on the agenda included the implementation of the committee's strategic work initiatives for 2025-2029. The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation among member states in employment and the development of Gulf human resources.
Additionally, discussions were held on improving competitiveness in labour markets to support job localisation policies in the private sector across the GCC. These measures are aimed at ensuring better alignment with the economic goals of the member states.
