Manama: The Ministry of Labour held a celebration for Bahraini Women's Day, attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary and Chairman of the Ministry's Equal Opportunities Committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman highlighted the strong support Bahraini women receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, enabling their active contribution to national development. He commended the Supreme Council for Women, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for advancing women's status and participation across sectors.
