Kuwait: Minor Injuries After Debris Falls at Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery

Kuwait: Ghanem Al Otaibi, official spokesperson for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), announced that debris fell at the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery early Monday morning, resulting in minor injuries to two workers.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Otaibi stated in a press release that the incident was dealt with immediately, following approved safety and security procedures. The injured workers were transported to Al Adan Hospital for necessary medical care. He confirmed that both workers are in stable condition and are currently under medical observation.

Al Otaibi also confirmed that refinery operations and production were unaffected and continued without disruption. Emergency teams responded promptly and activated the rapid response plan, implementing all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of personnel and facilities, with no material damage reported.

He added that the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery is operating at its normal capacity, with the highest priority given to the safety of personnel across all sites.
