Kuwait city: The Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait announced that special forces, in coordination and support with air defence units, successfully detected, intercepted and shot down three drones within the country's airspace through precise and specialised operations over the past 24 hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this information was disclosed by Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib, Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media, and official spokesperson for the Ministry, during a media briefing. The briefing focused on current developments and the latest field activities in light of the Iranian aggression on the State of Kuwait, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Brigadier Bouslaib further revealed that explosives disposal teams handled nine reports related to falling debris resulting from the interception operations over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of such reports since the beginning of the aggression to 588. Additionally, video footage was presented during the briefing, showcasing the efforts of special forces in managing drones and incidents involving falling debris or objects outside the threat range, which were handled by explosives disposal teams.
