Kuwait city: Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation announced that Kuwait International Airport was targeted by drone attacks, resulting in no casualties but causing material damage.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Abdullah Al Rajhi, spokesperson for the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, stated that the attack caused significant damage to the airport's radar system, as reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
He mentioned that emergency teams and relevant authorities immediately responded to the incident, taking necessary measures to assess the situation, ensure the safety of operations, and restore operational readiness as soon as possible.
Al Rajhi affirmed the Authority's continued coordination with relevant entities to take all necessary measures to safeguard the security and safety of civil aviation in the State of Kuwait.
