Kuwait Intercepts Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missile, and Drones

Kuwait city: Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait, announced that the State's armed forces successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and ten hostile drones detected in the country's airspace early Thursday.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Col. Al Atwan stated that the threats were intercepted and neutralized effectively. The incident resulted in falling debris causing material damage at several locations and injuring one person, who is currently receiving medical treatment and is in stable condition.

The army's engineering explosive ordnance disposal teams were also deployed to manage remnants from the interception operations. Col. Al Atwan emphasized that the armed forces are fully prepared and maintain continuous readiness to safeguard the country's security, ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents.
