Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait announced that its air defence systems detected and engaged four ballistic missiles and 23 drones in the last 24 hours amid the current regional military escalation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, stated in a media briefing reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces intercepted the hostile targets within designated operational zones. He noted that three other drones were detected but were out of the danger zone and posed no immediate threat.
Colonel Al Atwan further explained that the army bomb squad responded to 11 reports during the same period. He affirmed the continued vigilance and full readiness of the Armed Forces to safeguard the country’s security and territorial integrity.
