Amman: The State of Kuwait strongly condemned and denounced the criminal Iranian aggression that targeted the country on Tuesday evening, resulting in injuries to a number of armed forces personnel and causing material damage.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continuation of the Iranian aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and poses a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents.
The ministry stated that the attack also represents a blatant defiance of international legitimacy and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), reflecting a determination to pursue a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
Kuwait underscored its inherent right to take any measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
