Kuwait city: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) of the State of Kuwait announced that Kuwait International Airport's fuel depots were targeted by an Iranian drone attack, causing a massive blaze at the scene. Abdullah Al Rajhi, Spokesperson of PACA, stated that the assault, carried out by Iran and its affiliated armed militias, caused significant damage to the fuel tanks owned by the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company (KAFCO).
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Rajhi noted that preliminary assessments confirm that the damage is strictly material, with zero personnel casualties reported, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Al Rajhi further noted that emergency response protocols were immediately activated, with the relevant authorities mobilised to contain the fire.
