Kuwait city: Colonel Staff Saud Al Atwan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait, said that the air defence systems of the State of Kuwait engaged with hostile missiles and drones. The loud explosions heard across Kuwait resulted from the interception of intruding objects, he said in a press release early Thursday morning.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Col. Staff Al Atwan urged everyone to follow the safety instructions issued by competent authorities.
