Manama: Ali Abdulla Al Aradi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance, received a delegation from the European Parliament led by Reinhold Lopatka, Chair of the European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Arab Peninsula. The meeting was also attended by Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Executive Director of the Centre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Chairman highlighted Bahrain's ongoing efforts to solidify values of coexistence, tolerance, and dialogue across different faiths and cultures. These efforts reflect the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The discussion also covered the Centre's various programmes, initiatives, and partnerships at both regional and international levels, which aim to promote dialogue, understanding, and a culture of peace and mutual respect. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on mutual interests and explored ways to enhance cooperation in related fields.
The European Parliament delegation expressed its appreciation for Bahrain's efforts and the Centre's initiatives in fostering coexistence, openness, and dialogue. They commended the programmes and initiatives they reviewed, recognizing the Centre's pivotal role in this domain.
