Manama: Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, chaired the third remote meeting of the Permanent Committee on Patents. Al Doseri emphasized the significance of advancing the patent system and strengthening cooperation in intellectual property within the GCC to support innovation and promote a knowledge-based economy.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Doseri also stressed the need to enhance the role of the GCC Patent Office in accordance with international best practices and to bolster integration among GCC countries. The meeting included discussions on various topics outlined in the agenda.
