Manama: Leena Habib Kassim, Deputy Chairperson of the Women and Child Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, stated that the remarks delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the media are a clear call to strengthen national cohesion and reinforce collective responsibility in addressing challenges, thereby preserving the strength and unity of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Kassim emphasized that the current stage necessitates greater awareness of the importance of aligning behind His Majesty the King's leadership to safeguard social unity and maintain stability. She highlighted that protecting the nation is closely linked to adherence to the values of belonging and the responsibilities associated with citizenship. Kassim firmly rejected any sympathy towards those proven to have harmed the nation or failed in their national duties. She noted that the principles upheld by the legislative authority regarding national belonging provide a clear and consistent framework, stressing that loyalty to the nation and His Majesty the King's leadership remains the defining standard of true belonging.
