Manama: Dr. Bassam Ismail Al Binmohammed, Member of the Shura Council, emphasized that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's remarks to the media have clearly articulated the people's stance, leaving no room for ambiguity in terms of loyalty to the nation and its leadership.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Binmohammed highlighted that, within the nation, there are no grey areas, asserting that positions are explicit: one is either with the nation or against it. He emphasized that those who oppose the nation have no rightful place among its citizens and are unworthy of representing or belonging to it.
He further explained that His Majesty's statements delineate the true essence of national loyalty, as demonstrated by the people of Bahrain, who unite with their leadership in opposing Iranian aggression and those who align themselves with adversaries. He underscored that such stances are unacceptable and that normalcy cannot be restored without holding those accountable who have committed treason.
Dr. Al Binmohammed noted that His Majesty's unwavering approach to preserving Bahrain's sovereignty and prioritizing the nation above all illustrates a consistent leadership vision. He stressed that decisive action against those collaborating with or showing sympathy towards Iranian aggression acts as a safeguard for society and reinforces the values of genuine loyalty and belonging.
He asserted that treason is an unforgivable offense, expressing strong condemnation of anyone who betrays the nation or sympathizes with its enemies, especially those entrusted with public representation. He emphasized that parliamentary representation is a privilege reserved for those loyal to the nation and its leadership, and there is no room for those justifying or defending acts of treason.
Dr. Al Binmohammed praised the legal measures that uphold state authority and affirm that Bahraini nationality is a covenant based on loyalty and dedication to the nation.
He concluded by stating that unity under His Majesty the King's leadership remains the cornerstone for overcoming challenges, applauding the armed forces' readiness to defend the Kingdom and deter any threats to its security and stability. He emphasized that the awareness and sense of responsibility among Bahraini citizens are the guarantees for sustained development and prosperity under conditions of security and stability.
