Justice Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Participates in 73rd Arab Justice Ministers Meeting.

Cairo: Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ali Muqbil, Assistant Undersecretary for State Cases and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, participated in the 73rd meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Egypt, as part of preparations for the 41st session of the council scheduled for today, Thursday. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed mechanisms to activate the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism, the Arab Convention on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, and the Arab Convention on Combating Information Technology Crimes. Discussions also included the implementation of decisions related to the Arab Convention on Combating Corruption, the draft Arab Convention on the Status of Refugees in the Arab States, the draft Arab Convention on Personal Data Protection, the draft Arab guiding law to prevent hate speech, and the draft Arab guiding law o n protecting and assisting internally displaced persons in Arab states. After the meeting, the proposed items were approved and referred to the upcoming session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice for review and adoption.
