Riyadh: Nawaf bin Mohamed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf, and Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, have successfully signed the 1447 Hajj Arrangements Agreement. This agreement marks a significant step in the final preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the signing ceremony was conducted during Minister Al Maawda's participation in the 5th edition of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition, which is being held in Saudi Arabia. Minister Al Maawda praised the efforts of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, Minister Al Maawda expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Pilgrims Experience Programme (PEP), for organizing the conference. The event is recognized as a progressive platform for exchanging expertise, showcasing best practices within the Hajj system, and highlighting innovative initiatives that focus on modern technologies.
Minister Al Maawda also emphasized that this achievement builds on the successes of previous conferences, which have become a hub for stakeholders and individuals interested in Hajj affairs globally. The conference provides a valuable opportunity to explore the future of the Hajj service system.
