Manama: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, commended the success of the 1447 AH Hajj season. The Justice Minister praised the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which provided all means of support and care for Bahraini pilgrims.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Maawda also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the support and continued follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These efforts enabled pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals with ease, safety, and reassurance in a well-organised environment.
He commended the efforts of the committees participating in Bahrain's Hajj mission, headed by Shaikh Adnan Abdullah Al Qattan. The Justice Minister highlighted the role of the security committee from the Ministry of Interior, the medical committee from the Ministry of Health, the scout teams from the Ministry of Education, and the other organisational and service committees for providing integrated services and continuous support to pilgrims throughout their stay in the holy sites.
The Justice Minister noted that Saudi Arabia's advanced capabilities and expertise in crowd management and organising pilgrim movement through modern systems and technologies reflect the Kingdom's commitment to serving pilgrims. Minister Al Maawda also lauded the efforts of Bahraini Hajj tour operators and the cooperation and coordination they demonstrated in serving Bahraini pilgrims and adhering to approved plans and instructions, contributing to the success of the season.
