Doha: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the Doha Legal Forum, held in the State of Qatar under the theme "Emerging Trends and Forward-Looking Insights". The forum was inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, on the sidelines of the forum, Minister Al Maawda highlighted the value of international legal gatherings in fostering cooperation, sharing expertise, and exchanging best practices in legal and judicial domains. He emphasized their contribution to legislative development, strengthening the rule of law, and building adaptable legal frameworks capable of responding to rapid economic and technological change.
The forum focuses on legal and regulatory issues related to investment, emerging technologies, governance, and investment dispute resolution, with the aim of enhancing confidence in the business environment and supporting sustainable development and economic diversification.
It also provides an international platform for dialogue on the future of legislation and the judiciary, showcasing legal frameworks governing key economic sectors and their role in creating a secure, stable, and attractive investment climate through constructive engagement among participants.
