Manama: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, engaged with participants of the "Future Bet" programme, now in its third edition, organized by the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD). This meeting underscores the role of young individuals as crucial contributors to the judicial development process, aligning with the comprehensive development agenda led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Maawda was joined by Bassam Ismail Al Binmohammed of the BIPD's Board of Trustees and Eman Faisal Janahi, Executive Director of BIPD. The minister highlighted judicial initiatives aimed at enhancing justice access and upholding the rule of law, alongside the ministry's role in promoting Islamic moderation and religious values. He stressed the ministry's economic contributions through service improvements for citizens, residents, and investors, and the creation of legal professions in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
Further, Minister Al Maawda reviewed the ongoing digital transformation within the judicial sector, praising youth involvement in planning and executing projects that streamline procedures. He emphasized the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute's efforts in fostering legal awareness and human rights education, highlighting the prioritization of youth development.
The "Future Bet" programme is designed to empower participants by enhancing their awareness of Bahrain's development vision, sustainable development goals, and their connection to the national economic strategy. It fosters skills in leadership, teamwork, and initiative, promoting dialogue and preparing participants for active national roles. This edition builds on previous successes with dialogue meetings between ministers, officials, and young participants, focused on topics crucial to Bahrain's future.
