Manama: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, received Jonathan Hamilton, Co-Chair of International Arbitration at the global law firm Paul Hastings. Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Secretary General of the Council for International Dispute Resolution in the Kingdom of Bahrain, also attended the meeting.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister commended Hamilton's contributions to international arbitration. The meeting discussed recent developments in commercial arbitration and its role in enhancing dispute resolution frameworks and investor confidence.
Al Maawda highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with international institutions to exchange expertise and build national capacities in arbitration, supporting the continued development of Bahrain's commercial arbitration sector.
