Amman: Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, received a phone call from Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom. The phone call centered around discussions on bilateral relations between the two countries and the situation in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both ministers emphasized the need to enhance efforts to achieve a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza. They also highlighted the importance of opening all crossings to facilitate the immediate delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to the Strip.
