Manama: The Government Service Centre Evaluation Committee (Taqyeem) convened for its 15th meeting as preparations for the sixth evaluation round, known as Taqyeem 6, are underway. The meeting, led by Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), focused on improving the performance of government service centers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Qaed expressed gratitude to the committee members for their hard work in the previous evaluation round, which resulted in significant improvements in service center performance. He praised the commitment of all participating entities to enhance efficiency and service quality in accordance with government directives aimed at raising performance standards.
Al Qaed stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration among various entities to drive advancements in government service centers. He expressed optimism that the upcoming evaluation round would bring about further progress and innovation, leading to increased customer satisfaction and improved user experiences.
The committee reviewed their readiness for the evaluations based on the updated criteria outlined in the 2025 Taqyeem guide. This guide sets standards to enhance government services and channels as part of digital transformation strategies.
