Brussels: His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, held meetings in Brussels with North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary-General Mark Rutte and the foreign ministers of NATO member states, according to a royal court statement. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meetings, which were attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, focused on expanding Jordan's diplomatic and defense partnership with NATO. Discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination on issues of mutual concern, aiming to enhance regional and international stability. The talks also addressed regional developments, where His Majesty advocated for comprehensive regional calm to break the cycle of violence, as reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra). Key figures present during the meeting included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, and Jordan's Ambassador to Belgium Yousef Bataineh.
