Jordan Armed Forces Successfully Intercept Iranian Missiles and Drones

Manama: An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army reported that the Royal Jordanian Air Force engaged with four missiles and six Iranian drones targeting Jordanian territory over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the source stated that air defense systems intercepted and shot down three of the incoming missiles on Thursday morning, while the remaining missile landed in a remote, uninhabited area. Additionally, all six drones were intercepted and neutralized yesterday evening, with confirmation that these operations resulted in no casualties or material damage.

Teams from the Royal Engineering Corps were dispatched immediately to the crash sites and locations of the interception debris to secure the areas and neutralize any remaining hazards, following established technical and security procedures, the source added.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army remains vigilant in monitoring Jordanian airspace, maintaining the highest levels of operational readiness to address any threats to the Kingdom's security and the safety of its citizens, in accordance with applicable rules of engagement.
