Amman: Ayman Suleiman, Minister of Environment of Jordan, received Ambassador Hamad Marri, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan, to explore means to enhance environmental cooperation and support joint initiatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed the strong Jordanian-Kuwaiti ties and the shared commitment to building a sustainable partnership in environmental protection and natural resource management. Minister Suleiman and Ambassador Marri discussed aligning efforts with regional and international developments to support sustainable development.
The two sides agreed to activate mechanisms of cooperation through the exchange of expertise and scientific knowledge. They also explored opportunities for implementing joint environmental projects that contribute to environmental conservation and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in line with Jordan's Economic Modernisation Vision.
