Bahrain Showcases Achievements at International Astronautical Congress 2025

Sydney: Bahrain participated in the International Astronautical Congress 2025 (IAC), held in Sydney under the theme "Sustainable Space: Resilient Earth." The Bahraini delegation was composed of representatives from various sectors, including the Ministry of Tourism, the Shura Council, the Bahrain Space Agency (BSA), and the Exhibition World Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation was led by Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, Dr. Jehad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council, and Dr. Mohamed Ebrahim Al Aseeri, CEO of the Bahrain Space Agency. The delegation's presence at the congress underscored Bahrain's commitment to space sciences and its efforts to advance in education and innovation.

Bahrain's pavilion at the congress highlighted the Kingdom's achievements, including the launch of its first nationally built satellite, Al Munther. The pavilion also emphasized Bahrain's modern infrastructure, such as the Bahrain International Airport and the Exhibition World Bahrain, showcasing the country's ability to host major international events.

The participation in the IAC reflected Bahrain's dedication to promoting science, technology, and innovation. It also emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to leveraging its advancements in the space sector to support sustainable development and enhance its reputation as a hub for international conferences and exhibitions.
