Amman: The Jordanian National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) have announced two national projects aimed at developing and strengthening the agricultural sector through capacity-building and expanding market access. Additionally, a project focused on the conservation and genetic improvement of local almond varieties in Jordan has been launched.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event provided a platform for stakeholders to learn more about the projects and explore opportunities for cooperation. Both FAO and the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture underscored their commitment to working together to achieve sustainable agricultural development and enhance food security in Jordan.
