Cairo: His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt held a meeting with Annita Demetriou, Cypriot Parliament Speaker. HE President Sisi asserted Egypt's keenness to promote bilateral cooperation with Cyprus in the domains of mutual interest especially the field of energy, trade, and investment.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HE President Sisi also asserted the depth of relations between both countries in addition to the effective political coordination between them, pointing out the importance of parliamentary cooperation as a main cornerstone for boosting bilateral relations and understanding between both countries.
On her part, Demetriou lauded the distinguished level of relations between Egypt and Cyprus, saying that her visit reflects mutual keenness on exchanging parliamentary visits between both countries, the spokesman said.
