Jaffari Endowments Chairman Opens Reconstructed Mosques in Shahrakan and Karzakan

Shahrakan: Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, inaugurated the Abu Safi Mosque in Shahrakan and the Bin Dhef Mosque in Karzakan after their reconstruction.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative is part of a broader directive from HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to open, renovate, and restore 60 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates. Al Saleh emphasized the Kingdom's efforts in mosque construction and maintenance, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aiming to expand and develop the mosque network for the benefit of citizens and residents.

Al Saleh noted that the restoration of Abu Safi Mosque was carried out in keeping with traditional Bahraini architectural design, preserving its heritage while upgrading its infrastructure for a safe and comfortable environment. He added that Bin Dhef Mosque reopened after extensive modernization of its facilities and infrastructure, enhancing its overall appearance in line with approved standards.
