Jaafari Endowments Announces Completion of Imam Ali Mosque Restoration in Saar

Saar: Following the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate, and restore 40 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Jaafari Endowments Directorate has announced the completion of comprehensive maintenance works at Imam Ali Mosque in Saar.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the announcement was made during a ceremony attended by Abduljaleel Ibrahim Al Tarif, Deputy Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter, Deputy Governor of the Northern Governorate, Dr. Sayed Shubbar Al Wedaei, Chairman of the Northern Municipal Council, and members of the Jaafari Endowments Council. The Directorate also announced the opening of Shaikh Ibrahim Mosque in Arad.

Al Tarif expressed appreciation for the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting, developing, and maintaining places of worship.

He also thanked the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and all relevant government entities for their cooperation with the follow-up team.

Al Tarif noted that the Jaafari Endowments Directorate has approved a plan for year-round mosque maintenance, with five mosques scheduled for upkeep each month. He highlighted the importance of teamwork in achieving these goals in line with the leadership's vision and the aspirations of the local community.
