The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday 22 Palestinians, including 15 citizens from the village of Al-Mughayyir, near Ramallah city, which has been under siege for nearly a month.
The rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Tulkarm, Jericho and Bethlehem, Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said in a statement.
The forces escalated their arrest raids recently, specifically in the towns of lands that have settlement outposts such as Al-Mughayyir, where 45 citizens have been arrested since the beginning of the siege, most of whom were later released, it added.
The arrests included women, children and the elderly, as the forces threatened to arrest family members, particularly parents, the statement said.
The forces are still targeting Jericho governorate, especially the Aqbat Jabr camp, which has been facing systematic arrest raids since the beginning of this year, and the arrests there since the start of the year reached over 180 arrest cases and more than 3,370 citizens in the West Bank, PPS mentioned.
