Isle of Man Chief Minister visits “Exhibition World Bahrain”

Chief Minister of the Isle of Man Alfred Cannan visited “Exhibition World Bahrain”, where he was welcomed by the Minister of Tourism Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, and the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Dr. Nasser Qaedi.

Al Sairafi extended a warm welcome to Cannan and his delegation on a visit to Bahrain.

“Given the Isle of Man’s strategic location in the northwest of the European continent, we hope that Mr. Cannan’s visit to the ‘Exhibition World Bahrain’ will be a good head start for shared cooperation, particularly in the field of business tourism,” she said.

In his presentation about the “Exhibition World Bahrain”, considered the first of its kind in the Middle East, Qaedi went over its features, including exhibition halls, conference and meeting halls that can host a variety of events, celebrations, and events, and equipped with the cutting-edge technology and the special storage spaces.

Each hall has independent exits and entrances, which makes it the most suitable place for embracing international exhibitions and business meetings.

Cannan was also briefed on the Conference Center, which consists of the main conference hall that can accommodate about 4,000 people with an area of 4500 square meters that can be divided into three separate halls equipped with the latest means of presentation and technical services to host international conferences.

Qaedi noted that “Exhibition World Bahrain” is a crucial component of the ambitious objectives of the Tourism Strategy 2022–2026.

He said the Tourism Authority is keen on making the outstanding centre a popular destination for events and conferences in the region.
